I was given the following two renders of a human head wireframe to model in 3Ds Max
After creating two planes, crosshatching, extruding, mirroring and creating a sphere for the eyes, which I then cloned, I ended up with the following render.
Next I opted for Node 5 and dragged it over the above wireframe, resulting in the render below.
Next, using a photo of an ear I applied polygons on the topology of the ear.
I then imported the above image into 3Ds Max, and after extruding and merging verts I ended up with the following render.
I then cloned the ear and positioned one each side of the head wireframe, giving me the following render.
Next I opted for Node 5 and dragged it over the above wireframe, resulting in the render below.
Due to problems with the shading on the above image, I then used the turbosmooth tool to give me the following result. Even though there are problems with parts of the wireframe with regards to potential animation, after applying Node 5 the end result looked much better.
